2019
Our journey began in 2019, sparked by a visit to Danke Electricals Limited where my father, an expert consultant, was providing his expertise. As I observed the manual process of performing transformer tests like DVDA, Load Loss, and No Load tests, it struck me how time-consuming and repetitive the work was. It seemed inefficient for people to sit and perform the same tasks repeatedly while another person noted down the results. I thought, "There must be a better way." That's when the idea of creating automatic panels to streamline these tasks came to me.
2019-2022
Motivated by this vision, I embarked on a three-year journey of research and development. The COVID-19 pandemic, despite its challenges, provided a unique opportunity for focused work. With the world slowing down, I utilized this time to dive deep into creating the software and systems needed for automation. It was a challenging period filled with many trials and failures, but each setback taught me valuable lessons. Through perseverance and constant learning, I finally managed to develop a fully automatic software and system. My first achievement was creating a small panel that could automate the testing process for small transformers. I set up a complete test environment using rented power meters, resistance meters, and other costly equipment, including small transformers and dimmers, to validate the system.
2020
However, I soon realized that to test the system on larger setups, I needed more resources and support. In 2020, due to limited funds, I reached out to Hiren Patel of Hpanel Electricals. I shared my idea and detailed plan, proposing to convert their semi-manual transformer testing panels into fully automatic ones. With their support and permission, I was able to implement my solution on a larger scale. This collaboration was a turning point, as it not only proved the concept but also led to further orders for converting additional panels.
2023
The success of these projects validated our approach and marked a significant milestone for Santosh Software Solutions. It was incredibly rewarding to see the idea transform into a tangible product that solved real-world problems. Now, as we stand in 2023, we're preparing for our next big step: designing and producing our own fully automatic panels in-house. This milestone represents not just growth but also the culmination of our efforts to innovate and improve efficiency in the industry.
